Since my early teens I've had a strong interest in paintings and trawled antique shops and markets looking for bargains, developing a good eye and building a large collection over the years. This led to a long period of selling paintings at antique fairs and later online. For as long as I can remember I have admired artists of all styles especially impressionists and did not consider painting myself until something clicked and I picked up a brush for the first time relatively late in life. I'm self-taught, inspired and influenced by impressionism and add to my brush miles at every opportunity.
